Memorandum

END OF YEAR MEMORANDUM 2013/2014 SCHOOL YEAR

  1. The Year successfully ended on Monday, 14 July 2014 after the send-off ceremony the previous day. We thank God who kept us all through in the hollow of His hands. However, the SS2 students are still in school for the ICT program. The same is the case with few other students in various classes who are either in Music Club, ICT Club, or in the basketball team preparing for a National Championship. All these will end on Saturday, 9th of August 2014.
  2. The children are, at present, on holidays at different places. We did not assign any particular novels to be read. Instead, they were asked to read any four novels of their choice, attend Morning Masses, lead at Prayers at home, assists their Parents in the family chores, mind the places they go to and the company they keep, be selective in the films they see and in the novels they read. To achieve these lies, to a large extent, on the Parents and Guardians.
  3. The 2014/2015 school year begins on Monday 8th September 2014. All students are expected back on that day before 6:00pm. As this is the beginning of a session, Parents must endeavour to equip their children with all the items in the Prospectus and on the list of books and keep an inventory of what has been provided.

Note that all would be SSS2 students should come back on Saturday 6th September to enable them pack into their new hostel. The new students return on Saturday 13th September 2014.

  1. Parents’ Day and Fifty-six Seminary Day comes up on Saturday, 8th November 2014. Mass begins at exactly 9:00am. The registration fee for Parents is #2000 each and every absentee pays #5000.

At the end of the celebration, mid-term break follows as well as the annual excursion for the exceptional students. The break ends on Sunday 16th November 2014. The Seminary vacates for Christmas on Saturday 13th December 2014 but not for the SSS3 students.

  1. All admission into JSS1, 2, 3 and SS1 must end on Saturday, 9th August 2014.
  2. All the new students of last academic year who are yet to submit their T.C from their former schools are expected to submit such on resumption.
