Admission
OUR SCHOOL ADMISSION POLICY:
SASCO is catholic seminary where future priests and leaders are trained from grass root. The standard of formation in SASCO is very high and in order to meet up to this standard, the following are expected of any candidate seeking admission into the seminary.
- He must be a baptized and practicing catholic and must have received his first Holy Communion.
- He must be up to the age of 10 before the beginning of the academic year.
- He must be academically sound to the extent that he can pass both the entrance examination, placement test (for those entering other classes that is not JSS1) and the interview.
- He must be morally sound.
- He must be medically sound to live in school
- He must agree to pay the school fees when due.
HOW TO APPLY:
- Visit our site and download the admission form from the download section.
- Print and fill the form with the necessary details.
- Submit the form to your parish priest with the stipulated amount on the form, if you are residing in the Diocese. For those applying from outside Abakaliki Diocese, you should send the form to the School with the same amount as it is on the form.
Entrance Examination
The students are expected to come to the venue of the exams on or before 10AM with the following writing materials: Pen, Eraser, pencil, plain paper, and ruler.
Centers of Examination: (All the parishes within Abakaliki Diocese)
For those coming from outside the Diocese, their own entrance examination will be held at Saint Augustine’s Seminary Ezzamgbo (School premises)
Interview:
The list of the successful candidates of the entrance examination will be listed on our website. Candidates are expected to check our site for their results and the necessary information for the interview which we will be held in the Seminary premises.
